Art work requirements
Art is considered "print
ready" when it can be used for pre-press and
printing without the need for adjustments.
Adjustments will result in added fees and
delays.
Art File
Artwork must be supplied in Vector format.
Preferably in Corel Draw Format.
Vector based file formats save the mathematical
information required for the program to redraw
the image at any size and maintain a high
resolution. Colours are also separated, as
vector objects, which enable us to
change "White" to "Black" in order to
create a proper film positive for a white
underbase.
If you use a custom font, then you will need to
attach the font as well. Please do not convert
fonts to curves since this makes it impossible
to correct any spelling errors.
CDR files should be saved using specific Pantone
solid spot colours.
Colours
Please specify colours via PMS spot colour
designations. Due to hardware and software
calibrations, this will allow best colour
matching possible.
Imprint Size
It is important the the final art size is only
90% of the imprint location size.
Not only does
it look better but it is almost impossible to
print from edge to edge is some cases.
We are limited to a maximum imprint size of 85mm
x 65mm for two colour prints and 110mm x 55mm
for larger one colour imprints.
